Repair/Recycled Computers
I can remove your harddrive,
duplicate it to a larger newer drive
and either reinstall it in your old
case, or put it into a new case or a
recycled case. Except for
harddrives that are totally dead
(will not run at all), I can usually
recover your files and transfer them
to a new drive. While some
harddrives may appear to be
inoperable because they no longer
will "boot", it doesn't me that they
cannot be accessed.
I can either recycle your computer,
or you can purchase one already
recycled. Each
recycled computer you get from me, or
has been recycled by me, has undergone extensive testing. Bad or marginal
parts have been/will be replaced including Motherboards if necessary. Harddrive(s) have been/will
be cleaned and reformatted, or have been/will
be
replaced with new or tested good harddrive(s). All are ready for your
software preferences, and I will install and configure it for you.
In
most cases, computers are upgradeable to newer faster
Motherboards with newer faster memory and CPU's. I also will
recycle/upgrade your computer if it is upgradable.
Each
computer is warranted for parts and labor if returned to me for
repairs. I will replace any failed part(s) with equivalent parts of
my choice that are of the same functionality as the failed part(s) at
no additional charge for a period of 1 year from purchase date. In
short, I will restore the computer to full operation equivalent to
what it was the day you purchased it. Warranty will be extended to
account for the downtime while it is in my possession.
This is a relatively inexpensive way to get your kids
a good computer at used prices.
Software, including operating
systems, may or may not be included
in price quotations depending on the
individual computer in stock.
If not already installed on a
particular computer, then I will
either install the software from your
disks, or assist you in obtaining new
or upgraded software based on your
needs.
